They spent an entire week outdoors and being active.
The natural setting is spectacular; staff are warm, welcoming and accommodating. The food is exceptional. Is it always like this?
“My daughter came back super happy about having the chance to experience many activities and to develop her mind, body and ethics. She learns great values at IAWAH. She want to go back each summer.
She was loved, nutured and challenged to stretch her faith at camp and her faith has grown for the experience.
My eyes have been opened to what seems to be an emerging distinctive of our ministry – leadership development...God has given IAWAH an incredible opportunity to raise up leaders.
Tim Edwards, former Director
Serving at camp strengthened my relationship with God. Here, I am able to focus exclusively on servant-hood and becoming more deeply-rooted. I have found a new love for the scriptures this summer and was able to read nearly half the Bible while at camp. My leadership skills have also greatly increased.
Your camp is a ray of hope and a great source of encouragement to hundreds of young people every year.
I really learned a lot about myself and others by serving in different roles. I enjoyed every minute of camp this summer, and loved working there.
We were able to get away from the stress of life – and really felt at peace.
One thing I learned this summer is that when you face your fears you are able to do things you never thought you could do.
