Serving at camp strengthened my relationship with God. Here, I am able to focus exclusively on servant-hood and becoming more deeply-rooted. What is the value of a week at camp camp? A week in nature, away from city life and screens is a real positive. The mentorship and positive role-modeling of cabin leaders is valuable, especially for 14 year old boys. Spiritual teaching and encouragement in the camp setting is a positive.
