Volunteers

At IAWAH, we enjoy working with a large variety of volunteers throughout the seasons and seek those who have a love for serving others.

Some volunteers serve for a week or two while others can commit to a day a week, or one weekend each season. The following is a short list of roles that volunteers often fill:

  • Foodservice
  • Grounds keeping
  • Sewing projects (usually done at home)
  • Woodworking projects (done at home or onsite)
  • Camper transportation
  • Medical staff members
  • Cabin leaders

Please download the Adult Volunteer Guide 2021 to learn more about each option and to prepare you for what to expect while volunteering at IAWAH this summer.

If you are interested in volunteering please fill out the online application form.

You may go to your local police station and ask for one to be done. Before you visit the police station, however, make sure you have the proper identification and paperwork ready.

If they require you to pay, we will cover the costs that you may incur from acquiring this. To be reimbursed, please send a copy of your receipt along with a copy of your criminal record check for work with the vulnerable sector.
