Campground
Enjoy the beauty of summer at IAWAH with your family or friends. Campground bookings are available for Cabins, and tabins during select weeks of the summer. It is just like booking a deluxe campsite in a provincial campground. Bring your own food and cooking equipment. Central bathrooms and shower facilities are assigned. Each cabin is equipped with your own fire ring, picnic table, and clothesline.
The IAWAH staff are currently reviewing and planning for the Campground weeks. Updated activities information, fees, and more will be released soon. We are excited to offer Day Camp during week 4 (July 28- August 1, 2025).
Registration for Campground and Day Camp will open on January 15, 2025.
Each solid wood cabin is equipped with single-style bunks with foam mattresses, shelves, basic electricity, clothesline, fire-pit/grill, and a picnic table. Three or four cabins are spaciously gathered to form a village, perfect for a small group of families. Fully serviced washhouses are a short walk away. See the Campground map for how the villages are laid out.
Cabin – Individual Site Fee
$110/night +HST for up to 5 guests.
$27/night + HST for each additional guest to a maximum of 10 people on the site.
Max. on the site including day guests: 10 people.
The Tabins are nestled into the pine forest near Chapel Point. They are perfect for a small group of families, or they can be booked individually. A Tabin (tent-cabin) is a solid wood building, with screened sides that give you that special feeling of being in the great outdoors, with the added security of a roof. Canvas blinds can be rolled down to provide more weather protection, shade, or privacy. Each Tabin has six single beds built-in, with electricity, a picnic table, and a fire-pit & grill. Central washrooms, with showers, are located a short walk away in the gymnasium.
Tabins – Group Site Fees
$600/night + HST for all 5 Tabins. The maximum group size for the Tabin Village is 30 people.
Tabins – Individual Site
$90/night + HST for up to 4 guests
$27/night + HST for each additional guest to a maximum of 6 people on the site.
Guests bring their own food and cooking equipment and use the firepit & grill assigned to their site. IAWAH provides mattresses in the Cabins & Tabins, and single camping cots for the Tents. Guests are responsible for bringing their own bedding and linens. We recommend a sleeping bag and pillow, but sheets and a blanket work quite well too. Come packed for the seasonal weather and overnight camping temperatures (Cabins, Tabins, and Tents are not equipped with heating). The electricity is good for running a fan or charging a phone, it can not run small appliances (toasters, crock pots, hotplates, or hair dryers).
